Born, raised, and originally educated in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
I did a BA in Philosophy at the University of Buenos Aires, with a minor in Mathematics. While doing that, I also finished a three year Journalism program at TEA, a profession which I exercised only for a few years. After the BA, I got a Research Fellowship by the CONICET, and with it I finished an MA in Logic and the Philosophy of Mathematics with a focus in formal theories of truth. Over there I worked with my the amazing and collegial Buenos Aires Logic Group.
In 2012 I decided to go to Columbia to conclude my PhD with Philip Kitcher. There, my interests started to shift towards (formal and social) epistemology, decision and game theory, and computational philosophy. I am part of the Formal Philosophy Group at Columbia. Driven by the impact that social media had in the past few years, I devoted the final years of my PhD in adding data and network analysis to my research.
In July 2019 I began a position as a Research Fellow at the Australian National University working with Colin Klein on a project about trust and fairness in social media, and also connected with the Humanising Machine Intelligence program at ANU. Over there I started working on issues related to artificial intelligence. In October 2022 I joined the Munich Center for Mathematical Philosophy, at the Ludwig Maximilian University. My position is as an Assistant Professor for the Chair of Philosophy of Science, Stephan Hartmann.
